Westmeath are at home to Meath next Saturday.
There was an entertaining local derby in Portarlington with Offaly coming out on top against Laois.
The final score was Offaly 1-17 Laois 2-12.
Offaly manager John Maughan was well pleased with the win:
The new Laois team boss Mike Quirke was not too disappointed with the outcome:
Next weekend Offaly play Louth in Drogheda and Laois travel to Enniscorthy to play Wexford.
