World Cup Review: Philippines Claim First Ever World Cup Win

The Philippines have secured a famous victory at the Women's World Cup. 

Sarina Bolden's first-half goal has given them a 1-0 win over New Zealand in Group A. 

The groups other game between Norway and Switzerland finished goalless. 

Earlier, Colombia got off to a winning start in Group H with a 2-0 victory over Korea Republic. 

Two first half strikes from a Catalina Usme penalty and Linda Caicedo gave them all three points. 

Ireland are back in action against Olympic Champions Canada tomorrow with Ballinasloe's Heather Payne hoping to make an appearance.
