World Rowing Champion Will Consider Retiring If Training Rules Aren't Relaxed

The athlete say preparations for Tokyo Olympics next year is being affected due to not being able to train properly.

Two-time world rowing champion Sanita Puspure says she'll consider retiring unless the government relax rules around training for athletes.

The 38-year-old feels her preparations for next year's Tokyo Olympics are being affected by not being able to prepare properly due to lockdown restrictions.

Puspure says Irish athletes are frustrated by rowers in other counties already being able to return to their boats.
