It was intended to broadcast the draw live on Facebook.
It'll be a case of a repeat prescription in the semi-finals of the senior championship.
It seems nothing was unaffected by the worldwide outage of Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp yesterday afternoon and the draws for the Offaly Football Championships can be included in that.
A live-stream of the event was due to take place across Offaly GAA's social channels at 7:45 last night but instead the draw had to take place essentially behind closed doors.
Outages aside, here is how the semi-final stages across all grades are shaping up.
Durrow and Rhode renew rivalries after a compelling group stage game in which the underdog senior 'B' champions of 2020 out-lasted the reigning county champions to send a message to the rest of Offaly.
3-8 to 2-9 was the final score in O'Connor Park that day and you would imagine that Durrow will quietly fancy another crack at the best club side in Offaly over the last number of years.
Rhode on the other hand will also feel confident that a second upset can be avoided despite a mounting injury list.
They've regathered momentum in recent games and with another couple of weeks to prepare with a fixed focus, management will be eyeing up a tenth successive final.
Tullamore and Ferbane is another mouth-watering rematch of their 2020 last four encounter just over twelve months ago.
It took a first ever penalty shootout in the Offaly senior football championship to separate them that day as Tullamore advanced to their first county final since 2013., ultimately going down by two to Rhode.

Their roles will have reversed by the time this encounter comes around.
Tullamore are in the process of integrating some of the most promising talent in the county into their side and the blend of youthful enthusiasm and gritty experience makes them the greatest threat to the top table in many people's opinion.
On the flip side Ferbane are without Cian Johnson and Oisin Kelly for the season through injury and seem to be filling up the treatment room with each passing week.
Edenderry were the bookies favourites to account for them at the quarter-final stage and Tullamore will probably be short odds to reach back to back deciders on the day.
That won't panic a veteren Ferbane outfit however who haven't feared their opponents in recent years.
Both promise to be enthralling encounters in a few weeks time.
