Some of the young side's success is being put down to the Kilcormac development ground.
Offaly minor hurling manager Leo O'Connor has praised the impact of the Faithful Fields as they look ahead to an All-Ireland semi-final.
The side has been out of competitive action since a dramatic Leinster final win over Laois four weeks ago, but they have played multiple challenge matches since then.
This Friday, they face Clare in Semple Stadium in the semi-finals, with Tipperary taking on Galway in the other game on Sunday.
Leo O'Connor says the Faithful Fields development in Kilcormac is hugely beneficial in developing these players;
"They're the best in Ireland bar none. The front field out there, you can compare it to Croke Park. It's full size and everything. It's just a matter now of being patient and filtering these guys through. Over the next three/four years, a lot of what has come through over the last three years will make their way on to the senior panel."
The Limerick native is is expecting a low scoring battle when the young Offaly side take on Clare on Friday.
The Leinster Champions face a Clare side that lost to Galway but beat Laois since then.
Leo explains how they've dealt with the gap since a dramatic win over Laois in the Leinster decider;
"We've played two or three challenge games. We've gone around the country and got games. So from that point of view, we've had a game each week for the last three weeks. No later than Thursday night we had another game. And then we've also had in-house games, which have become really, really competitive."
Throw-in is at 7.30pm at Semple Stadium in Thurles and we'll have live commentary on Midlands 103 with thanks to Buggy Refrigeration, Tullamore, the midlands' leading specialists in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
