Imagine having to wait for over 20 years to get an official diagnosis.
Well it Ciara Whelan that long to be diagnosed with endometriosis and adenomyosis.
The 33-year-old has debilitating pain in her abdomen, hips, lower back and legs.
On bad days she can't get out of bed, and has been hospitalised several times for heavy periods. Ciara will be part of a protest by Her Voice Project, that will take place outside Leinster House on March 21st.
