A midlands man is hoping that his plans for vineyards could boost tourism in the region.
Stephen Whyte, founder of Irish Wine Estates, says there are over 1,000 vineyards in the UK so he thought why not do it in Ireland.
He's been speaking with Will Faulkner on Midlands Today and says he also wants to do wine tours on the site in South Offaly.
