"We Watched Our Daughter Die In Front Of Us"

The Big Story

Wednesday, 21 January 2026 - 20 minutes

A midlands hospital has issued "sincere and unreserved apology" to the family of a young woman who died following failures in care given to her.

Bryonny Sainsbury was admitted to the Regional Hospital Mullingar after she was crushed by a horse in August 2021.

Her parents Alison and Chris Sainsbury and the family's solicitor Karen Clabby have been speaking with Will Faulkner on the Midlands Today Show.
