Midlands 103 is recruiting a Sales & Marketing Executive to join their growing team. This is a brand new position at Midlands 103, born from the demand for new marketing products.

The successful candidate will deliver client-focused solutions that include:

·         Midlands 103 New Media

·         Midlands 103 Events.

·         FindLocalJobs.ie and other brand extensions.

This part-time sales role (9am - 1pm Monday to Friday) is based in Tullamore, County Offaly and offers terrific career progression as either the position expands or the successful candidate seeks a bigger opportunity within our company.

The Role

·         The Sales & Marketing Executive will assist with all new and existing events scheduled for the year ahead.

·         Negotiate and manage relationships with sponsors and vendors.

·         Achieve and exceed sales targets for both events plus growing your own client base.

·         Assist the production of all event marketing materials, including print, digital and social media.

·         Work with the sales team to develop and implement strategies for ticket sales.

·         Collaborate with the Event Manager to ensure a smooth and successful event.

·         Attend events to assist the organisation and also build relationships with attendees.

Required Skills and Qualifications

·         Experience preferred but not essential.

·         Experience in event planning is not essential but an advantage, as full training will be given.

·         Excellent communication skills (both in conversation and in writing).

·         Strong organisational and project management skills.

·         Must be highly motivated to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
