Ireland has received over €121m in funding so far.
The EU Just Transition Fund is creating jobs for former peat industry workers in the Midlands.
That's the view of Assistant Director of the EU Just Transition Fund Bernie Roe, as 172 projects under the scheme are being highlighted at a regional showcase.
Just Transition Fest, held in Mount Druid in Westmeath, platforms achievements in areas spanning from local tourism to the circular economy.
Ms Roe says the remainder of the fund will be spent, and then, they'll be planning for the future:
