The National Archives exhibit will come to Westmeath and Offaly.
The National Archives is marking the 1926 Census with a curated exhibition touring 11 venues across Ireland, including the Midlands.
The Story of Us exhibition will tour 10 local authorities, including Westmeath, before featuring at the National Ploughing Championships in Offaly.
Using original 1926 census returns, documents and audio-visual displays, life in the Irish Free State will be explored, from sport and entertainment to language, culture and religion.
The Westmeath tour from the county council buildings in Mullingar, begins tomorrow and lasts until 11th September, before heading to Screggan four days later.
