2,000 More Midlands Homes Surveyed For High Speed Connection

13,000 premises are in the IA for that county.

Surveying for high speed broadband completed for over 2,000 premises in a midlands county.

In Offaly, there are around 13,000 homes, farms and businesses in the Intervention Area for the National Broadband Plan.

1,671 premises in the county can already order better connectivity today.

National Broadband Ireland Chief Executive, Peter Hendrick says "Our teams continue to work on the rollout plan and good progress has been made from surveying, design, build to connection works in County Offaly. We’re confident that the rollout will continue to gather pace as we look to connect thousands more homes and businesses."
