142 patients have been waiting for a first outpatient neurology appointment in Mullingar.
A Midlands TD is hitting out at "unacceptable" waiting times for neurology patients at a Midlands Regional Hospital.
HSE figures obtained by Sinn Féin’s Sorca Clarke reveal that 142 patients are currently waiting for a first outpatient neurology appointment in Mullingar, the majority of whom have been waiting for over a year.
There are currently 82 patients who have been waiting for more than 24 months, 41 patients waiting between 18 and 24 months, and 19 patients waiting between 12 and 18 months.
No patients have been waiting for less than 12 months.
