While Westmeath receives just over €97,000 to fund initiatives like barn owl monitoring and conservation.
In Laois, over €95,200 went to nine projects including biodiversity themed borrow boxes and the Laois County Council baseline tree survey.
Applications for the 2026 round of the scheme are now open with the deadline set for February 5th.
