Over 40 Properties Pledged To Ukrainian Refugees In The Midlands

Nationwide, there are at least 400 vacant and shared properties that could possibly be used to house refugees.

There are over 40 shared and vacant properties pledged to refugees still unoccupied in the midlands.

Figures revealed to the Irish Independent show there are ten vacant properties lying idle in Westmeath.

In Laois, there are 32 shared properties available.

Offaly County Council has not revealed how many homes are yet to be filled.
