A proposal by a local property company to build 41 homes in a Westmeath town has been rejected.
Strongly Ltd submitted an application to Westmeath County Council in June for the development of a 41 two-storey homes, comprising 36 three-bedroom semi-detached houses and five four-bedroom detached houses in Rochfortbridge.
The proposals included 56 car parking spaces, with 41 located within the building’s curtilage and 15 designated for visitors, alongside 22 visitor cycle parking spaces.
The local authority notified the company of its refusal for the development last week.
