42 Modular Homes For Ukrainian Refugees to Be Ready Next Month

The should be able to move in the first week of November.

42 modular homes in Laois, which will be used to house Ukrainian refugees, are expected to be ready next month. 

The Department of Integration says residents will moving into the site in Rathdowney in the first two weeks of November. 

Currently there are 1,455 people from Ukraine living in the county. 

Meanwhile, up to 950 are expected to be accommodated in Stradbally, in heated and insulated cabins, which will be enclosed in large marquee type structures, from November 6th. 

The site is expected to be used for 32 weeks.
