485 Patients Waiting On Trolleys Across Irish Hospitals

Six people are waiting for beds in the midlands.

485 admitted patients are on trolleys in hospitals around the country today.

290 of those are in emergency departments while 195 are in wards elsewhere, according to INMO figures.

There are six people waiting for beds in the midlands - three in Portlaoise and three in Mullingar. 

University Hospital Limerick accounts for the largest number of people waiting for beds with 94, followed by University Hospital Galway with 43.
