50% Increase In Calls To Midlands Domestic Violence Support Service

The service can be contacted via social media. 

The Offaly Domestic Violence Support Service is reporting a 50% increase in the number of people contacting them. 

They're not currently operating face to face meetings, but have added a second phone number and are reminding people that the service can be contacted via social media. 

ODVSS are taking a lead from facilities in other countries such as the United States and Italy while also maintaining communication with other domestic agencies. 

Their Development Manager Ann Clarke says the requirement for self-isolation is the ultimate entrapment:
