A 58-year-old Laois man has passed away after contracting COVID-19.
Tommy Ring, who was living in the UK, was admitted to Northhampton Hospital on October 10th after suffering tissue damage to his lungs.
He was put on a ventilator as he was unable to breath and put induced coma.
The Abbeyleix man is survived by his wife and four children.
