9 Patients On Trolleys Across Midlands Hospitals Today

Nationally 377 patients are on trolleys.

377 admitted patients are on trolleys in hospitals today.

The INMO says 242 of those are in emergency departments, while 135 are in wards.

The latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation shows Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise have 5 patients waiting for a bed. 

While Mullingar have 4 and Tullamore continues to have no patients on trolleys.

Nationally, University Hospital Limerick accounts for the largest number of people on beds with 87, followed by University Hospital Galway with 47, and Cork University Hospital with 46.
