A Laois Senator is demanding urgent action on delayed builds for special schools.
Sinn Féin's Maria McCormack is calling on the Department of Education to secure public funding for Saplings Special School in Graiguecullen and St. Francis School in Portlaoise.
Saplings has remained idle for two years despite commitments to restart the project and St. Francis was promised a modular build in 2021 that also has not been delivered.
