Younger drivers are the most concerned about proposed changes.
The majority of motorists want to see the driving test reflect a more normal driving experience.
A survey by Aviva shows almost 9 in 10 drivers would support changes to the current test.
However, many younger drivers are concerned any changes will make the test harder, driving up the fail rate and adding to waiting lists.
