Aontú Blames Lack Of Government Action For Increasing Road Deaths

63 people have lost their lives on Irish roads so far this year.

A midlands TD is blaming the Government for the rising number of road deaths.

Aontú Leader and Meath West Deputy Peadar Tóibín says the State is failing to employ Gardaí.

There's 24 officers in the Laois Offaly Roads Policing Unit, down five from 2021, while there's just 18 in Westmeath.
