The hearing is scheduled for the 15th of July.

Josef Puska's appeal against his conviction for the murder of Ashling Murphy in 2022 is now due to go ahead in July.

It had been set to get underway this week, but he fired his barristers.

Josef Puska was found guilty of the school teacher's murder in 2023 and was handed a life sentence - he has been planning for his appeal since.

At the Court of Appeal this morning, Ms Justice Isobel Kennedy set the new hearing for the 15th of July.

The case is due to be mentioned again in May.
