Coffee-lovers in the midlands will be pleased with a new facility on its way to Laois.
Planning permission has been granted for a new industrial unit for the roasting, storage and packaging of coffee in Portarlington.
Local firm Seccoto Coffee is behind the development, which will be situated in Portarlington Industrial Estate, a kilometre south of the town centre.
Seccoto, founded in 2004, is Ireland's only fully-certified own-label contract roaster.
