Two men have been arrested in connection with a Westmeath burglary.
Gardaí attended the incident, which occurred at a business on Pearse Street in Mullingar, at around 6.50am last Tuesday morning.
Two men, one in their 50s and the other in his 20s, were arrested at the scene and were being detained at a Garda station in the county.
They have since been charged in relation to the incident and are expected to appear before Mullingar District Court at a later date.
Gardaí say they are continuing to investigate the matter, and are asking anyone with information to get in touch with Mullingar Garda Station.
