Irish people in America will gather to remember Ashling Murphy this weekend.
The annual New York Memorial Walk will celebrate the memory of the Offaly schoolteacher, who was killed while out for a run on the banks of the canal in Tullamore on January 12th, 2022.
This Sunday represents the third edition of the event, with begins at the Boat House and loops through the iconic Central Park on Sunday.
All proceeds will go towards the Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund, which a suggested donation of $20.
In a post in social media, the charity has thanked the organisers of the walk for their continued support of the memory of the 23-year-old.
