Hundreds gathered at various events in Offaly on Friday to remember the schoolteacher.
Ashling Murphy's family are thanking the public for its support on the second anniversary of her death.
Hundreds of people attended various events to remember her life, including a memorial mass at Durrow National School, where Ashling was a teacher, and a commemorative walk, on Friday.
In a post on social media, her family say they are forever indebted for the kindness, care and consideration of those who left flowers and candles, and sent mass cards and messages of support.
They also say they're committed to ensuring Ashling’s name and legacy is kept alive and strong forever.
