They're encouraging everyone involved in food production in Athlone to attend.
The newly formed Athlone Food Network is holding its first AGM this morning.
Created to promote the quality and choice of food in the town, the fledgling network is beginning its programme having already secured some government funding.
Everyone involved in food production or service in the Athlone area is invited to attend the event, which will be held via Zoom at 11am.
Vice-chairperson John Coffey says this is just the beginning for the project:
