New figures from DNG's latest Residential Price Review shows the current cost stands at €261,021.

The average home price in the Midlands will now set you back over €260,000.

New figures from DNG's latest Residential Price Review shows the current cost stands at €261,021.

It marks a 5.6% increase from the first half of the year and a 8.6% change from last year.

That's above the national average of 4.7% recorded in the first six months of 2025.

Director of Business and Research Development at DNG Paul Murgatroyd says it's due to first time buyers looking into the region:
