A Westmeath auctioneer says there's no incentive for people to remain as landlords.
Michael Farrelly, from Sherry Fitzgerald Davitt and Davitt in Kinnegad, says the last six homes he sold in one housing estate in the town belonged to landlords.
His comments come as Longford Westmeath FF TD Robert Troy wants to see tax cuts of up to €14,000 for landlords in the Budget.
