Unions are condemning plans by Bord na Mona to lay-off over 200 workers in the Midlands in a week's time.
The BNM Group of Unions is calling on the board of the company to reject the proposals.
The ESB plans to shut plants in Lanesborough, County Longford and Shannonbridge, County Offaly which will possibly hit Bord na Mona workers.
