A 15-year-old boy has died after a swimming accident earlier this week.
He got into difficulty on Tuesday in Lough Sheelin, which borders Westmeath, Cavan and Meath.
He was brought to Temple Street Hospital in Dublin and was pronounced dead yesterday evening.
Two other people lost their lives in drowning incidents in Cavan and Leitrim on Wednesday night.
