The project is working on one of five trails.

Visit Offaly is currently working on branding for Slieve Bloom Mountain Bike Trails to increase tourism to the area.

The project is one of five trails that Coillte is working on.

The first phase of the development is 30 kilometres with the final trail stretching to 100km.

The trail - which will go through Laois and Offaly - is a joint collaboration between both local authorites.
