An Offaly shopping centre is being celebrated for leading the way as a social and retail hub in the Midlands on its 30th birthday.
The Bridge Shopping Centre in Tullamore was the brainchild of popular business man Christy May - the man behind the Bridge House and Greville Arms Hotels.
Having traversed the high and lows of the national economy over the last 30 years, the building is currently at full occupancy, and seen over 90 million visitors supporting around 10,000 jobs.
John Cusack has been the manager of the Bridge Centre since 1996.
