Buccaneers Rugby Raise Over €4.5k For Westmeath Hospice

Two coffee mornings were held by the club.

A midlands rugby club has raised over €4,500 for a local hospice. 

Two coffee mornings were recently held in The Bounty in aid of the South Westmeath Hospice by Buccaneers Administrator Geraldine Kenny. 

Ireland rugby star Anna McGann and Councillor Frank Keena were some of the volunteers who helped with the occasion.

A total of €4,520 was raised and the cheque was accepted by hospice representative Syra Reid.
