The wait time listed on the Department of Justice website for an Atypical visa is "a minimum of 20 working days" but can take up to 80.
Reports of delays began in March of this year, with things like the "meta data" of documents submitted being cited as reasons for refusal, with many also reporting a lack of feedback from the Atypical visa office when asked for clarification.
