Cabinet To Discuss RTÉ Annual Report Highlighting Top Earners

RTÉ Director General Kevin Bakhurst is the highest-paid employee on the list.

RTE's latest annual report is to be discussed by the Cabinet this morning.

It's expected to show the top 10 earners list dominated by senior managers, with nine of the positions held by top executives.

Laois' Claire Byrne was the only presenter to make the list, before she left the State Broadcaster and moved to Newstalk

The highest earner listed is RTE Director General Kevin Bakhurst, whose salary is capped at €250,000, not including his allowances and pension package.
