It's time to examine the possibility of a motorway linking the Midlands with Rosslare Europort.
Fianna Fail Councillor for Carlow Andrea Dalton is making the call as she believes there's a need for a direct connection to the M7, M9 and M6.
She feels it's timely as Rosslare is classified as a Port of National Significance, meaning it handles at least 15% to 20% of total maritime tonnage and drive national capacity.
