The Coalition Against Hate Crime is pressuring the Garda Commissioner to answer questions on how the force is tackling extremism.
It follows arrests made in Laois and Down of two men suspected of involvement in a far right organisation.
The group is also calling for a national action plan against hate including a strategy to tackle misinformation in online spaces.
Commissioner Justin Kelly has sat before the Oireachtas Justice Committee to speak on the issue.
