It comes after journalist Emer O'Kelly published a damning account of her stay in St James' Hospital.
Offaly's Roisin Molloy's baby Mark was born alive on January 24th in 2012 at the Midlands Regional Hosptial in Portlaoise, but died 22 minutes later, after attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.
Ms Molloy and her husband were then told that his death had been recorded as a stillbirth.
The Killeigh woman founded Compassion Pathways, which delivers training to students and organisations on putting compassionate care into practice within healthcare settings.
She says it should be a mandatory component of healthcare practice:
