The Agency has acquired 16 sites in the past two years.
The IDA has acquired 16 large-scale sites outside of Dublin in the past two years.
The Irish Times reports Laois and Westmeath are included in those, and are aimed at re-balancing development away from the Capital.
The locations were chosen based on the IDA's market insights and extensive analysis and consultation.
Laois Chamber of Commerce CEO, Caroline Hofman, says she wants to see a master plan put in place for those sites:
