Ireland South MEP Seán Kelly has called on the EU to intensify pressure for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.
Speaking at the European Parliament in Strasbourg last night, he condemned what he declared was the "indiscriminate" bombing of innocent civilians.
Over the last 102 days, over 24,000 Palestinians have been killed as a result of Israel's bombardment of the territory.
MEP Kelly added the October 7th attacks by Hamas were "repugnant", but said what's happening now has "entered another stratosphere":
