Calls To Support Cancer Community Centres With "Adequate Funding"

A midlands TD says the centres are in a funding crisis.

The Government must recognise cancer community centres save money. 

That's according to Sinn Féin TD Brian Stanley, who is calling for centres like Cuisle in Portlaoise and Dóchas in Tullamore to be supported with more adequate funding without having to rely on voluntary fundraising. 

He says the National Service Plan of 2023 recognises the need to improve the quality of life.
