The Ossory Show was scheduled to take place yesterday, but was cancelled on health and safety grounds due to excessive rain over the weekend.
The re-scheduled event kicks off this Sunday at 11am at the Ossory showgrounds in Rathdowney.
Organisers say while the decision to post-pone was made with a heavy heart, with the interest of patrons, competitors and traders, it was the right move.
