Failure to increase the social housing income threshold is another act of discrimination against Offaly.

They're the words of Councillor Ken Smollen, who believes the change should've been made nationwide.

The base income threshold for social housing was raised by €5,000 in Laois and Westmeath at the start of the October, but not in Offaly.
