Stretch your legs and burn some calories for a good cause.
A number of charity walks/runs are taking place across the midlands over Christmas.
The organisations benefiting from the fundraising include the Midlands Hospice Building Fund, Laois Hospice Foundation and GOAL.
If you're looking to stretch the legs before Christmas dinner, you can head along to the Hospice Mile Walk/Run from 10am at Tullamore Harriers with all proceeds going towards the Midlands Hospice Building Fund.
The GOAL Mile 2019 takes place across the region, it's on Christmas Day in Laois at the Oakvale Woods in Stradbally (near Windy Gap) at 10am and Portarlington GAA Grounds on the Canal Road at 11am
In Offaly, at Emmet Square in Birr at 1pm on Christmas Day and in Banagher at 1pm on St Stephen's Day.
In Westmeath, at Multyfarnham, in the Local Park at 12pm and Mullingar Shamrocks GAA Grounds at 10.30am on Christmas Day.
The walk/run event will also take place at 12 noon in the Castledaly GAA Grounds on St Stephen's Day.
