Carol Nolan has described the absence of Special Education Needs Organisers as shameful.

Children with special education needs are being failed in Laois and Offaly, according to a local TD.

Carol Nolan has hit out the government in the Dáil for leaving the area without any Special Education Needs Organisers.

SENOs are responsible for ensuring children with additional needs receive the supports they're entitled to.

In response, Minister Eamon Ryan committed to having the issue investigated.
