Civil registry services in an Offaly town are now fully restored.
Fine Gael TD for the county John Clendennen says the HSE's civil registration service in Tullamore is once again able to provide a proper marriage registration service.
Staff shortages and retirements from the start of 2024 meant people had to travel to Portlaoise and Mullingar to book a ceremony.
Noel McCann is from the wedding team in Tullamore's Bridge Hotel, and had previously raised concerns over a lack of service.
